About the Veteran Down Payment Assistance Program
Habitat SKKC offers down payment assistance exclusively for veteran buyers of Habitat homes:
- Up to $150,000
- 0% deferred loan due upon transfer or sale of home

- Step-by-Step Guidance. Habitat buyers are assigned to a Habitat staff member who provides step-by-step guidance from loan-preapproval to the transaction and closing process.
How to apply
Complete Habitat SKKC’s normal application process for the home you are interested in. On the application, mark that you are a veteran and upload the necessary documentation. Habitat SKKC will then review your application for the veteran down payment assistance program.
